Ben talks with radiologist George Stohr and breast imaging specialist Tawana Haynes about the upcoming “Mammothon.” Radiology Associates of Hartford will provide 26.2 hours of non-stop breast screenings at their Glastonbury location at 31 Sycamore St on June 1 and June 2.
Stohr, who lost his wife to breast cancer, said early detection is key. Women should get a baseline mammogram test between age 35 and 40 and annually after that.
“We want women to be aware,” he said. “Early detection is the best tool we have to fight this disease.”
