The annual Daytrips and Destinations Expo drew thousands to The Cromwell Plaza Sunday.
The event featured raffles, giveaways, many familiar FOXCT faces, and options on the best places to go and things to see in Connecticut, the Northeast and beyond.
Visitors connected with companies showcasing their travel destinations, products and services with reps from the Caribbean Islands, ski mountains, cruise lines and more to help revelers plan their summer vacations.
Some lucky visitors also won discounted deals and giveaways including trips to Puerto Rico and Italy, tickets to local area favorites like Rock Cats games and the Travelers Championship and even an oil change to get their car ready to hit the road on a trip.
