BERLIN – A motorcycle accident closed a section of Route 9 for about four hours Sunday.
The accident occurred on Route 9 southbound between Exit 22 and 23 starting at around 9 a.m.
Police said the driver of the motorcycle was transported to Hartford Hospital, but his condition was not immediately available.
The highway was reopened around 1 p.m.
