Wadsworth Falls State Park is gorgeous this time of year. There are 267 acres of forest, rivers, and of course, the falls. It was designated as a park in 1942 and has a number of trails for biking, walking or running.

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is gearing up for a full-scale opening on Memorial Day weekend.

There are 107 state parks across Connecticut. Stay with Fox CT this summer and we’ll tell you more about other parks to spend a day with friends and family.
