Randy Fiveash, director at the Connecticut Office of Tourism, joins the Morning Extra to share some impressive statistics. He breaks down how money from the travel and tourism industry benefits the economy and talks about the number of jobs tourism brings to the state.

He also talks about a the Connecticut Fan Favorite Contest. Participants can vote once a day on the Visit Connecticut Facebook page through May 15th. Each vote counts for a chance to win a prize.
