Fire On Overlook Road In Plymouth

Firefighters responded to a fire in Plymouth on 30 Overlook Road after midnight Monday, May 6th.

PLYMOUTH Firefighters rescued a resident and seven cats from a house fire on Overlook Road early Monday. No one was injured in the fire.

Firefighters responded to the fire at 30 Overlook Rd., in the Terryville section of town, shortly after midnight. A resident was able to escape the flames by climbing out of a second-floor window onto the roof and had to be rescued.

The fire started in the basement, but smoke and flames extended to parts of the first and second floors.

The family has been displaced. The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
