It’s the unofficial start to summer and that means it’s time for grilling. Mark Morrone of Jake’s Wayback Burgers stopped by Fox CT’s studios and offered these tips.
Hamburgers
- Choose the correct meat for the grill
- Use high heat and cook the burgers fast
- Treat the meat gently while cooking, do not squish or flatten the meat while grilling
- Flip the burger once
- Don’t use skimpy buns
Hot Dogs
- Make sure you have quality, all-beef hot dogs
- Preseason the meat
- Grill the hot dogs at an average temperature
