Monday Evening Forecast: Heat Wave Ahead

From one extreme to the other! High temperatures were in the 40s on Saturday.  By the end of this week, we have a potential heat wave on our hands! The warmth will arrive in the wake of a warm front approaching on Tuesday. The front will cause clouds to increase throughout the day with an increasing chance for showers in the afternoon and at night. Showers and storms will linger on Wednesday. Then get ready to sweat!  Temperatures will approach 90 degrees Thursday, Friday and Saturday!

Tomorrow: Increasing cloudiness, chance for showers late in the day or at night. Wind becoming south at 5 to 15 miles an hour. High: 68-74

Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Some storms in the afternoon could be strong to severe. High: 75-80

Thursday: Mostly sunny, hot and a bit humid. Highs in the upper 80s to near 90 inland, low to mid 80s along the shoreline.

Friday: Mostly sunny, hot and a bit humid. Highs in the lower 90s inland, middle 80s along the shoreline.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, hot and a bit humid. Highs in the upper 80s to near 90 inland, low to mid 80s along the shoreline. Chance late shower/storm.
