The heat goes on…right through the weekend. On Friday Windsor Locks tied the daily record high temperature of 95 degrees. Bridgeport tied the record of 91! One more day in the 90s and we can officially call this the first heat wave of the year. Saturday and Sunday will be a few degrees lower with more of a southerly wind. Both days there is a chance for a few hit or miss late afternoon storms. Storms will become more numerous late Sunday into Monday, ending our stretch of heat and humidity.
Tonight: Mild and muggy. Low: 63-68.
Tomorrow: Sunny to partly cloudy, hot and humid. Chance for a few late afternoon storms. Low 90s inland, low 80s along the shoreline.
Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy, very warm and humid, chance some scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Mid to upper 80s inland, Upper 70s along shoreline.
Monday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Not as mild. Slowly turning less humid as the day progresses. High: Mid to upper 70s
Tuesday: A refreshing start! Noticeably less humid, seasonable and pleasant. High: Mid to upper 70s
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, dry and comfortable. Clouds increase Thursday. High: Mid to upper 70s.
