HARTFORD – Police are warning motorist to expect traffic delays due to a concert at the Comcast Theatre.
Police say more than 25,000 people are expected at the theatre.
“Motorists should expect traffic delays in and around the Downtown and North Meadows and on I-91 and I-84 in Hartford throughout the day and evening,” announced Deputy Chief of Police William F. Long, Chief of Operations for the Hartford Police Department.
Police also issued a stern warning about underage drinking, saying that enforcement is “being ratcheted up.”
According to the theatre’s website, Luke Bryan, Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line are scheduled to perform Friday starting at 8 p.m.
