Target Employee Charged In Theft Of iPads

SOUTH WINDSOR – Police arrested a sales associate at Target who allegedly stole $3,700 worth of iPads.

Security officers at the store, located on Buckland Hills Drive, learned that 25-year-old Nelson Diaz had taken several of the devices, police said.

Diaz, of West Hartford, admitted to the thefts, police said. He was arrested Monday by warrant. He was charged with third-degree larceny.

He is scheduled to be arraigned June 20 at Superior Court in Manchester.
