Homeless Man Rescued After Falling Down Embankment In Portland

PORTLAND – A homeless man fell 30 feet down a steep embankment at South Quarry off Willow Street early Friday, police said.

The man, who was camping in the area, broke his ankle in the fall. He was treated at an area hospital, police said.

Portland Police and Firefighters were called to the scene around 2 a.m.
