More showers and thundershowers will cross Connecticut between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday with the biggest threat being local downpours. Once the cold front crosses to the east breezy, drier more comfortable air will arrive overnight.
Wednesday is looking to be a very nice day with sunshine and a few clouds, breezy and pleasant with afternoon temperatures in the mid 70s.
A vigorous area of low pressure will approach from the west on Wednesday night with another round of steady and at times heavy rain from noon Thursday through Thursday night, with another one to two inches of rain expected. Temperatures will remain in the 60s on Thursday.
The good news: great weather expected from Friday afternoon through the weekend with plenty of sunshine, seasonable, comfortable temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and overnight lows in the 50s.
