Temperatures will approach 80 degrees on this Father’s Day, but there will be a lot of clouds hanging around. There is a chance for a few showers during the afternoon and evening, but most of us will be dry for just about the entire day.
Tonight we’ll have gradually clearing skies with low temperatures around 60 degrees.
Monday will bring in more sunshine, but there’s yet another chance for a shower or thunderstorm as a front will stall in the area. High temperatures will stay mild in the upper 70s to around 80, which is right around our average for this time of year. Even though we have that shower chance, most of the day will stay rain-free.
Tuesday is a close call. Some computer models are hinting at light showers during the afternoon, and some are showing more heavy rain. Meanwhile, others don’t have any rain at all! At this point, expect a 30 to 40 percent chance for rain with a mix of sun and clouds.
Wednesday through Friday will be beautiful with a lot of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
