The Travelers Championship donates 100 percent of its net profits to a number of charities, including the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Tim Lammers talks all about the camp.

The camp is located in northeastern Connecticut. It was founded by Paul Newman in 1988, and named for the secret, outlaw hiding-place from his film: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp has been serving seriously ill children for over twenty years. The camp helps children diagnosed with cancer, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS, hemophilia and other serious and life-threatening conditions enjoy a fun-filled, summer experience. Activities include everything from archery to horseback riding. All of the activities are designed to include every child. The camp has a special zero-entry pool, which allows all campers to enter, regardless of any mobility challenges they may have. And a special warming room called the “French fryer” allows children with sickle cell anemia to enjoy swimming. In addition, a tree house, mini golf course and multiple trails have all been designed to be wheelchair-accessible.
