An Air Quality Alert is in effect for Southern Fairfield and New Haven Counties from noon to 10 PM Friday. People with respiratory problems may want to limit their time outside. Summer is here and right on cue a warming trend begins. An isolated shower/storm is possible in northern New England the next few days.  It’s a close call, But I think Connecticut should stay dry or mainly dry right through the weekend. Humidity starts to climb Saturday. By Sunday and Monday it’s hot, hazy and humid.

Tonight: Clear, good sleeping weather but not as cold as last night. Low: 55-60

Tomorrow: begins at 1:04 AM. Mostly sunny start, turning partly cloudy in the afternoon. A few degrees milder than recent days. High: Near 80 shore, 80-85 inland.

Saturday: Partly cloudy, warm and a bit humid. Low to mid 80s inland, Near 80 degrees along the shoreline.

Sunday: Partly cloudy, hot and increasingly humid. Upper 80s to near 90 inland. Not as mild along the shoreline with temperatures in the low 80s.

Monday: Hazy, hot and humid. Upper 80s to low 90s inland, Mid 80s along the shoreline.

Tuesday:  Hazy, hot and humid. Chance for a pop up shower or storm in spots late in the day or at night. A better chance for storms Wednesday-Thursday. High: Upper 80s and low 90s inland, Mid 80s for the shore.
