Drivers throughout Connecticut could feel a little bit more of a pinch at the pump this summer, and top Republicans in the legislature said Monday that they want the governor to intervene and stop it.
Speaking near a Shell station in Hartford, House Republican leader Larry Cafero and Senate Republican leader John McKinney said that more than 6,700 people from throughout the state have signed a petition for Gov. Dannel P. Malloy to call a special session on the tax increase.
