Search warrants related to the murder charges levied against former New England Patriots tight end and Bristol, Connecticut native Aaron Hernandez are expected to be released Tuesday afternoon.
Police searched Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough, Mass. for several days before he was arrested on first-degree murder charges in connection with the death of Odin Lloyd. Reports surfaced last week that police also searched an apartment in Franklin, Mass. that belonged to Hernandez.
Two other individuals have also been charged in connection with the crime.
The Patriots dropped Hernandez from their roster just hours after his arrest. On Saturday and Sunday, the team held a jersey exchange event allowing anybody who owned a Hernandez jersey to turn it in and receive a free jersey of another player.
