Gordon Willard of the Connecticut Humane Society brings us this week’s pet of the week: Darryl, the 3-year-old basset hound mix.
Darryl’s ideal home would be a single-family house or condominium. He plays well with adults and children of any age. Darryl enjoys the company of other dogs, and though he has not yet met any cats, he may be willing to share with felines who like dogs.
Darryl is a young and active dog who needs plenty of exercise and training. He’s already been learning his manners at the shelter and is eager to know more. Darryl is a good choice for someone with previous experience owning dogs.
