Temperatures today will be about 5 degrees cooler than yesterday, so there is some minor relief. Granted, we’ll still be humid with highs in the mid 80s just about statewide. You can expect a decent amount of sunshine during the day with the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. It’ll be very similar to what we had yesterday, where some of us get drenched from storms, yet some of us don’t see any rain at all!
Wednesday and Thursday will bring the chance for more showers and storms as a front approaches from the west. The good news is, this front will help to dry out our air come Friday. This means it’ll be less humid and much more pleasant for the weekend. Highs will still be in the low to mid 80s, but that’s average for this time of year.
If you have weekend plans, it’s looking great. Until then, just have the umbrella nearby, although it won’t be raining at all times.
