With the combination of the saturated ground from heavy rains during the past week and the potential for more thunderstorms with tropical downpours this afternoon and tomorrow, flash flooding is possible.
The good news is we should have drier weather on Friday, with weather less humid and more enjoyable for the weekend. Highs will still be in the low to mid 80s, but that’s average for this time of year.
If you have weekend plans, it’s looking great. Until then, just have the umbrella nearby, although it won’t be raining at all times.
