Friday night will be the Alzheimer’s night at the Connecticut Tigers game. You can watch the tigers take on the Williamsport Crosscutters while raising money to end Alzheimer’s.

Fifty percent of the proceeds go to ending this disease and supporting the walk to end Alzheimer’s. The game starts at 7pm at Dodd Stadium in Norwich.

Also, this Sunday will be the annual GE 5k road race to benefit the Petit Family Foundation. The 5k starts at 8:30 am and will be including a kid’s fun run and a fitness run as well.

The Petit family has touched all of us here in Connecticut; and taking part on Sunday is the perfect way to support Dr. Petit and his family!

And for all you golfer’s out there, on Monday will be the annual Make-A-Wish Invitational. The tournament has raised more than $300,000 in the past 15 years.

The day starts at 11 a.m. at Smith Richardson Golf Course in Fairfield. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes and makes dreams come true for children who are battling life threatening diseases. For more info head to make a wish ct dot org.
