For everyone who has dogs, this Saturday, you can head down to Hubbard Park! The Central Connecticut Pet Fair and Dog Walk will be going on. Our very own Rachel Frank will be there.
They’ll have music, food and much more. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the best part is that all the money raised goes right to the Connecticut Humane Society!
Also, the 10th annual Sunflowers For Wishes will be going all throughout next week, starting this Saturday. More than 450,000 sunflowers are expected to bloom at Buttonwood Farm in Griswold.
You can buy bouquets, T-shirts and note cards; all to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children all over the country battling life threatening illnesses. Head out to Buttonwood Farm to help make some of their wishes come true.
Finally, this coming Sunday, you can be a part of the 16th Annual Michael Rosano Golf Tournament. The day is being held at Blue Fox Run Golf Course in Avon. The cost is $150 per player. They’ll have food, raffles, and tons more to do. The day raises money and awareness for organ and tissue donation.
