PLAINVILLE — A 60-year-old man was arrested after a near two-hour standoff with police at a Twining Street home on Friday night.
Police were called to the home at 4:38 p.m. for a domestic disturbance in which the man, Charles Hollow, allegedly made threats against a woman.
The woman left and went to a neighbor’s, but Hollow continued to make threats via phone and then threatened to harm himself with a rifle that was kept in the house, police said.
