WATERBURY – State environmental officials have been called to a truck crash on eastbound I-84 in Waterbury that also caused a fuel spill.
State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection officials are handling the fuel spill while state Department of Consumer Protection officials are checking the truck’s cargo, which is reportedly chocolate and rice.
The crash is between exits 25 and 25A and traffic is backed up to exit 23 and onto Route 8.
