Five years after he was murdered, there is an update in the cold case of Trevon Mauldin, who was killed in the driveway of 161 Martin Street

On the date he was murdered, Trevon was part of a two-man robbery team that had tried to rob a local worker who was shoveling snow.

The incident ended when Trevon was shot by his accomplice.

During the investigation, the police were eventually able to identify a suspect, Marquis White.

Once a location of the suspect, White, was known, Hartford police gave that information to the U.S. Marshall Service and Florida law enforcement officers.

They worked in a cooperative effort to secure the arrest of White for the murder.
