It’s competitive eating for a cause.
Wings for Wishes is in its second year at J. Timothy’s in Plainville, a wing eating contest that raises money for Connecticut Make A Wish.
Teams of five competed in heats to make it to the finals, one from each event moves on, as well as the team that raised the most money. The finals will be August 22.
The way the heats works is the first four members eat four wings as fast as they can, then in the remaining time, the fifth members eats as many wings as they can.
