BRIDGEPORT — A man died after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a tree early Tuesday, police said.
The crash happened shortly after 12:15 a.m. at Noble and Edna avenues, they said.
Firefighters extricated Keith Gathers, 32. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There were no other occupants. The department’s major accident team responded and is investigating the crash.
