The general rule is children should do 10 minutes of homework for each grade level. Students need a workspace that is well lit, spacious, comfortable and free of distractions. Here are a few tips to help your student organize and work to their full potential:
- Provide a study space conducive for homework and studying
- Get your child into a study and homework routine early on in the school year
- Organize your child’s time
- Communicate with teachers early on in the school year
