DayPlannerSunday will be another day that makes us realize we’re quickly headed into autumn, even though it doesn’t officially begin until Sept. 22.

After a cool start in many towns on Sunday morning, we’ll warm it up to the lower 70s across the state. Expect a decent amount of sunshine, but afternoon fair-weather clouds will likely filter on in.

Monday brings a lot of cloud cover, with our best chance for showers over the next few days. After that rain clears out, we have mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70s for Tuesday through Friday. It should be nice for those heading to the Big E!

As we head on for next weekend, it looks like a lot of showers will be around the area on Saturday and Sunday.
