An October chill is settling in.  The heart of the cold air will be here Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Then we’ll slowly warm up through the end of the week with a nice stretch of dry, sunny days. Temperatures will get stuck in the 60s on Tuesday despite plenty of sunshine.  At night, temperatures will tumble into the 30s for some inland areas with patchy frost possible in some of the typical cool spots by Wednesday morning. Summer is winding down. Fall arrives Sunday, less than a week away!

Overnight: Clearing, cool. Low: 38-46.

Tuesday: Chilly despite plenty of sunshine! North wind at 5 to 15 miles an hour. High temperatures in the low to mid 60s.

Wednesday: Patchy morning frost possible in the northern hills. Sunny, temperatures rebound into the upper 60s and low 70s by afternoon.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, a bit milder. High temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

Friday: Mostly sunny, a bit milder. High temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

Saturday: Sun fading behind increasing clouds. Chance for showers Saturday night into Sunday. High temperatures in the low to mid 70s.
