HARTFORD – A woman is in the hospital after she was stabbed and beaten with a hammer early Monday, police said.
Police responded to 6 New Park Ave. shortly before 2:30 a.m. on the report that a woman had been assaulted by a man.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police have not released any information about her condition or the attacker.
