With fewer wins come fewer fans and seasons tickets and merchandise purchased. And, we’re not talking only about those at the corporate level.

“I went to one of the first games and it wasn’t so good. It was kind of sad. So, we ended up leaving early, which a lot of people did,” said Carley Bedell, a UConn Sophomore.

So, does anybody think UConn should have just wiped the slate clean after the season?

“Heck no. I mean, we’ve been losing.  Why wait until the end of the season,” asked Vanessa Wright, a UConn Sophomore.

Sebastian Garraud, a UConn Senior, is a student employee of the UConn football program. Even he felt it was time to go for Paul Pasqualoni.

“We went to the Fiesta Bowl before Randy Edsall left. Ever since then, we’ve been on the decline.   So, I’m not really too impressed,” noted Garraud.

But, still others say firing the Cheshire native makes no difference.

“I don’t know who that is. So, I don’t have too many thoughts on it,” Aileen Tobin, another UConn student.
