I dare you, dare you I say, to find anything wrong with the weather on Sunday. Just perfect.
So let’s not mess with it for Monday. More sunshine, with slightly warmer temperatures thanks to a developing southwesterly wind flow. Temperatures will rise to the mid to upper 60s for much of the state. We’ll keep it mild for Tuesday as well, with just a few clouds thrown in there.
Then, the bottom drops out from under us.
A strong cold front arrives Wednesday, bringing us mostly rain late in the day. However, with plunging temps down to the lower 50s for highs, and low to mid 30s for overnight lows, there is the possibility of a few wet snowflakes mixing in. This will be confined to the higher elevations on the northern fringe of the state.
The rain leaves by Thursday, but the cold air hangs around for a while, staying below average into the weekend. It’s quite a departure, compared to where we were Sunday!
