Jamie Cyr, who survived breast cancer, now records and sells original songs to raise money for breast cancer charities. She visited the Fox CT studio to perform her original song “Come So Far.”
Cyr said she wrote the song because it helped her to overcome her own struggles while she battled cancer.
“I was laying in bed and I was thinking of that and the words to the song, the melody I could hear it in my head,” she said. “I got out of bed and wrote this song down on paper. It came out like I was writing a letter.”
