FARMINGTON — A Farmington man is to be arraigned Monday in Superior Court in Hartford on charges that he assaulted his 7-week-old child, leaving the infant with several fractures.

Farmington police served an arrest warrant on Morsy M. Elzawawy, 29, of 304 Colt Highway, at 11:55 a.m. Friday and he posted $250,000 bail. The warrant charges Elzawawy with first-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Police said they were notified by state Department of Children and Families investigators, who had been contacted by officials at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Hospital staff reported to DCF that they were treating a child for multiple fractures and that the parents could not offer an explanation as to what happened to the baby.

Farmington detectives investigated and obtained the warrant for Elzawawy’s arrest. The injured baby and a sibling have been removed from the home by DCF as the investigation continues, police said.

wow. you actually found it necessary to address this p.o.s. by his ethnicity. why? well, its pretty clear you're likely a p.o.s. as well.

The Courant describes Elzawawy as an "Egyption national" i.e., not a citizen. How did this man gain entry into the USA? Instead of adding to the ranks of the IRS, Obama ought to expand the ranks of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Those here on visas like this Muslim and the Tsarnov brothers and others couldn't harm us.

here we go. another racist rant. where do we send all the white men who are raping, beating, or murdering children? what does this idiot have to do with politics. if politics played a role in the behavior of people, then every president before President Obama, should be verbally insulted. such a stupid and ignorant comment to make. but, what should i expect from a simpleton.

Another website says the police report states that he would not allow police to photograph the child, because it would violate Shariah law. For whatever reason, the Police felt it necessary to obtain consent, and got it from the Mother. Seems very odd that the CT police would feel bound by Sharia law??

I doubt seriously if CT. Medical institutions would ever find a medical cause for multiple fractures. Even with masses of babies being diagnosed with gene sharing stealth infections the Army calls Bioweapons that depletes the body of as much vitamin D as it can stealing much needed calcium in the bodies ability to compensate. CT STUPID killed that kid. Just like they are murdering the 1 in 29 now being born severely multply infected they also REFUSE to help you treat!!!
