This past weekend was another beauty with plenty of sunshine and comfortable daytime highs averaging in the 60s. High pressure will hang on today with more pleasant and sunny weather with highs in the 60s.
A cold front will move through the region Tuesday with a few clouds and maybe a sprinkle or light shower but most towns should stay dry. This front will stall just south of New England with low pressure developing in the Midwest and moving south of Connecticut bringing a band of moderate rain with upwards of a half to three-quarters of an inch of rain by Wednesday night.
Wednesday will be a very chilly raw day as temperatures will stay in the 40s. Once the storm pulls away, the coldest air of the season will be upon Connecticut from Thursday through the weekend with plenty of sunshine and chilly daytime highs, averaging in the upper 40s to low 50s with overnight lows in the 20s and 30s. Frost will become the norm instead of the exception, with temperatures feeling more like November.
