The first annual WeHa Whiskey Festival, which will raise money for local charities including Camp Courant, is scheduled for Oct. 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the auditorium at West Hartford’s town hall.
The festival will feature 150 items for tasting at 30 different tables.
“There’s an interesting story behind each brand, and we know there are people who want to learn about them and try something new,” Seth Goldstein, managing partner of Maximum Beverage in Bishops Corner, said in a press release. “Whiskey is a growing category and the festival is an opportunity to educate the public while also raising money for some good causes.”
Tickets are $79.99 in advance and $99.99 at the door, including a souvenir glass, a gift bag and other giveaways. To buy tickets, visit Maximum Beverage at 333 North Main Street, West Hartford, or call 860-761-2541.
