WALLINGFORD— A 29-year-old Naugatuck man was killed in a head-on crash late Friday night at the intersection of Cook Hill Road and Shelby Drive, according to police.
Brandon J. Genovese, the driver of one of the two vehicles, was taken to MidState Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The driver of the second vehicle, 17-year-old Darin Quagliaro, of Wallingford, was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in Quagliaro’s vehicle, Justin Cyr, 18, of Middletown, also suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Yale-New Haven for treatment, police said.
The crash happened at approximately 10:37 p.m., according to police.
