Tuesday will be colder, with highs struggling to reach the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. More clouds are on the way for Wednesday but they will be accompanied by a gradual warming trend through Thursday into Friday (highs in the 60s) before rain moves in late Halloween (Thursday) night.
At this time it appears those trick-or-treating will be dry and comfortable with mild temperatures averaging near 50 with the soaking rains holding off until after midnight.
The rain will move out Friday morning followed by clearing skies and a nice day to start November. By the weekend high pressure will build into New England with plenty of sunshine and cooler temperatures with highs averaging in the 40s and 50s and overnight lows back in the 20s and 30s.
