SIMSBURY — Police said they are investigating a home invasion reported Monday on Vining Drive.
No injuries were reported and police said they believe the person who committed the crime was familiar with the home and its residents.
Police were called about 6:30 p.m., and when they arrived, the suspect had already fled.
The victim told police that a person entered the home, demanded money then fled with items from the house.
