High pressure stretching from the Great Lakes across northern New England will deliver a late autumn chill Tuesday afternoon as temperatures will struggle to reach the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.
Clouds will move back in late tonight into early Wednesday with a gradual warming trend through Halloween into Friday. Some light showers will move in Halloween evening followed by moderate to heavy rain early Friday morning. Rain will taper off by Friday afternoon leading into a clear, cool weekend.
For those out trick-or-treating, Thursday night will be in the low 60s making it nice and mild. There is the chance for rain, but some computer models show light rain holding off until after midnight. But once the rain does come, you can expect up to an inch before the cold front clears Friday afternoon.
After the rain clears we’ll see temperatures surge on Friday afternoon to near 70, followed by highs near 60 on Saturday and near 50 on Sunday.
