For the first time in Connecticut, you do not need to be registered on election day to vote in the local elections November 5.

Election Day registration is not available at polling places but can be done at your registrar’s office. Contact the registrars of voters office for information about your city’s or town’s designated Election Day registration location and identification requirements. You will need to provide proof of identity and residency.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
