Connecticut is movin’ on up! High temps started in the 40s earlier this week. By Wednesday, temperatures will approach the 60 degree mark.   Milder air is surging in ahead of our next front.  That front will be accompanied by a band of showers on Thursday, ending midday.  While rain may be enough to wet the ground, it isn’t enough to make up for a three to five inch rainfall deficit since September 1.  Temps tumble on Friday with a chilly northwest wind.  There is no soaking rain in sight.

Tonight: Not as cold as recent nights. Low: Mid-upper 30s inland, near 40 for the shore

Tomorrow: Sun mixing with high clouds, milder and dry. South wind at 5 to 15 miles an hour. High temperatures in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

Thursday: Mild and breezy. Showers developing in the morning, ending midday. High temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Friday: Mostly sunny, blustery and colder. High temperatures in the upper 40s to around 50 degrees.

Saturday: Sunshine mixing with high clouds. High temperatures in the upper 40s to around 50.

Sunday: Partly cloudy, slight chance for a shower. High temperatures in the low 50s.
