Winter will be in the air Tuesday morning. An Arctic front swings through overnight, bringing a few light rain showers to start. Rain will mix in and change to snow Tuesday morning. Some heavier snow squalls are possible, too, which could lower visibility and drop a quick coating of snow in spots. While little or no accumulation is expected (less than one inch), the poor timing will result in some issues for the early commute. Watch out for slick spots as temperatures will be in the 30s statewide. Snow ends between 7 and 9 a.m. from northwest to southeast. The rest of the day is breezy and chilly. Temps rebound late week, back to the 50s!

Overnight: Rain/snow showers developing late. Low: 33-37

Tuesday: A rain or snow squall around early in the morning. Partly cloudy, breezy and cold. Most of the day will be in the 30s.

Wednesday: A taste of winter.  Chilly, despite wall to wall sunshine. Remaining breezy. High temperatures around 40 degrees.

Thursday: Not as cold as recent days. Less wind, too. Mostly sunny skies. High temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Friday: Milder with mostly sunny sunny skies. High temperatures in the low to middle 50s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, mild. Chance for a shower. High temperatures in the low to middle 50s.
