VERNON — Police continue to look for a man who held up a pharmacist at gunpoint over the weekend.
No one was injured during the robbery, which happened about 11 a.m. Saturday at Walgreens, 529 Talcottville Road, or Route 83. The store is at the intersection with Dart Hill and Regan roads.
The man fled with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication, police said.
He is described as 5 feet 10 to 6 feet tall, and he was wearing a baseball hat, sunglasses, a dark, long-sleeved crewneck sweatshirt and dark pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 860-872-9126. Callers may remain anonymous, police said.
