Southington Dunkin’ Donuts Robbed

SOUTHINGTON — Police are looking for a stocky Hispanic man who they believe stole $200 from a Dunkin’ Donuts on Monday night.

The robbery happened at the store at 262 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike around 6:15 p.m., according to a release from Southington Police. The man didn’t show a weapon or imply that he had one.

He took about $200, fled on foot across Pratt Street and got into an older four-door gold or silver Saturn, the release states. The car was last seen heading south on Pratt Street to Orchard Lane.

The man is described as light skinned, between 5-foot-8 and 6 feet tall with a “stocky” build, a dark moustache and beard, clear eyeglasses with no visible rims, gauge-style earrings, a black hooded sweatshirt with a small white logo on the left sleeve, a white shirt under the sweatshirt, gray sweat pants with dark lined front pockets and dark shoes.
