A Connecticut doctor on trial for sexually assaulting his patients was found guilty on all counts.
Jurors took more than two full days of deliberating to convict Dr. Tory Westbrook on four counts each of second and fourth degree sexual assault.
Five women, who were his patients, testified that Westbrook touched and pinched their breasts and lower region during exams without wearing latex gloves.
The assaults happened at the Community Health Center of Clinton.
“There’s not a lot of case law out there on this, but clearly this was not for medical appropriate purposes or bonafide medical purposes,” Middlesex State’s Attorney Peter McShane said.
Westbrook faces up to 44 years in prison.
He is set to be sentenced Jan. 31.
