Farmington Indians Crowned Champs

On November 16, all four CIAC Boy’s Soccer champions were crowned.

And many of the schools are familiar names in the finals, including defending Class L champs the Farmington Indians.

Coach Steve Waters knew his boys were in for a dog fight against the two-seeded Falcons of Joel Barlow.

But when Indians senior striker, Sabri Akter, scored less than a minute in to the game then again less than eight minutes later, and with that 2-0 lead the defending champs took a huge step to becoming repeat champs.
