New Haven Police are searching for suspects responsible for six knockout style assaults. The crimes target unsuspecting victims with a punch to the head.
“What the press has labeled a Knock-out game is anything but a game,” said Officer David Hartman in a statement Friday afternoon. “We see this as a pattern of crimes for which we hope the perpetrators will receive swift and strict penalties under the law.”
According to police 3 assaults took place on Monday November 18th, and three more on Tuesday November 19th. Detectives believe the attacks are related.
Undercover and plain-clothes officers have been deployed to help with the case.
